Aberdeen City Council plan to carry out a statutory consultation to rezone the Dyce Academy catchment area to align with the Council boundary which may result in New Machar School no longer being zoned to Dyce Academy for secondary education.
Aberdeenshire Council will therefore require to complete a statutory consultation to rezone the New Machar School catchment area to an Aberdeenshire Academy.
There is also an area to the south of the New Machar School catchment area to an Aberdeenshire primary school and academy.
As part of the first stage of pre-engagement, Aberdeenshire Council officers met with Parent/Carers of New Machar School and the Community Councils within the area. The powerpoint presentation and maps shown at the meeting are in the documents on this page.
