Local authorities have a statutory duty to consult every two years on the provision of Early Learning and Childcare (ELC), to inform the planning and delivery of services. The information you share with us in this consultation will help to inform our future Early Learning and Childcare delivery plan for Aberdeenshire.

We would like to hear from families who:

  • Have previously accessed Early Learning & Childcare provision in Aberdeenshire (child up to the age of 12 years)
  • Are currently accessing Early Learning & Childcare provision in Aberdeenshire
  • Will access Early Learning & Childcare provision in Aberdeenshire in the future (including expectant parents)

Aberdeenshire Council (Education and Children's Services) Early Learning & Childcare parental consultation will be open from Tuesday 2nd December 2025 to Wednesday 7th January 2026.
