AFY Projects - Views and Experiences of Young People in Aberdeenshire
We are looking to gather the views and experience of Aberdeenshire's young people (12-25) on 5 topics. The topics were chosen by young people at our Spring 2025 Aberdeenshire Youth Forum (AYF) Re-Launch.
You can quickly add views to the survey as a tick box. Or you can spend more time giving details of the topics that impact or are important to you. The topics are as follows:
- Transport and walking routes - Including 'safe' walking routes
- Outdoor environment improvements, access and spaces designed for young people
- Accessibility - disability inclusivity and representation
- Education- local capacity impacts young peoples opportunities (subjects and support)
- Rural enterprise and employment opportunities
- We also have an open question so you can let us know what else is important to you.
At the end of the survey there is some questions to help ensure we are reaching a reasonable mix of young people in Aberdeenshire.
We value your time and will use the information gathered with young people at our Aberdeenshire Youth Forum (AYF) Planning for Action Gathering on Friday 14th November 2025. At this gathering young people will review the information gathered and plan the next steps towards understanding and sharing the 'story' of young peoples experience and aspirations in Aberdeenshire before working together to seek solutions.
All Aberdeenshire Youth Forum Activities are fully support by CLD, Aberdeenshire Councils Youth and Communities Team, with colleagues and partners invited and keen to support learning and shared solutions.
