Consultation has concluded. Data has been presented to the Business Plan Member-Officer Working Group (with tenant representation) and recommendations will go to elected members.
We are working with independent researchers, IBP Strategy and Research, to find out more about tenants’ views and priorities for:
Rent levels and increases
Day-to-day services
Repairs and maintenance
Housing improvements
Investment in new council homes for rent
The survey is being conducted by IBP Strategy and Research via telephone calls. Participation is optional and you only need to answer those questions that you wish to.
Calls will come from IBP’s number: 01698 532021. If you are contacted and have any concerns if the call is legitimate, please contact us by calling 01467 537413 or by emailing tenant.participation@aberdeenshire.gov.uk, and we will check that everything is in order.
If you prefer to complete the survey by personal telephone interview or if you don't wish to be contacted again, please contact Jason Brown on 01698 532021 or at j.brown@ibp.eu.com.
The closing date for responses is 24th November 2023.
Participation in the survey is voluntary. The information that you provide will be retained by IBP Strategy and Research and will be anonymised at the earliest possible opportunity. No information that links your response to you as an individual will be provided to Aberdeenshire Council or to any other party. Any information that you provide which is held electronically will be deleted as soon as is practical.
The feedback from the survey will help inform the development of a long-term business plan for the council’s Housing Revenue Account (which is where rent money goes, and which funds the various services and investments). It will also inform the approach to be taken to rent levels over the next 3 years.
