Review of Aberdeenshire Adult Carer Strategy
Review of Aberdeenshire Adult Carer Strategy
Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership is currently reviewing its Aberdeenshire Adult Carer Strategy, which is our plan of what we have been doing and what we plan to do to support adult carers over the next five years.
AHSCP asked adult carers and people who support them, to give their views on how we support adult carers to sustain their caring role and have a meaningful life alongside caring.
Surveys to give views are now closed and we have prepared the updated draft strategy for the Integrated Joint Board (IJB). Approval of the draft strategy has been delayed and is now planned for IJB discussion on 2nd July 2025. Once the strategy is approved by the IJB, consultation with unpaid carers, carer support services, the third sector and people who support adult carers will commence.
