Alford area learning community needs assessment: Initial focus/mapping survey
Aberdeenshire Council Community Learning and Development and other partners are looking to find out more about the learning needs of individuals and communities in the Alford area. This area includes the Academy catchment area or what we call the learning community. The rural catchment stretches from Echt in the east to Corgarff in the west. Because of the size and diversity of this area, we are looking to focus initially on 3 or 4 communities.
The aims of this survey are to:
- Inform the learning needs assessment by asking organisations and groups where they believe we should focus our work.
- Help us build an overall picture of existing learning services and activities across the area.
When filling out this survey please consider learning in the broadest sense. This will include skills such as computing, language and numeracy skills as well as 'softer' skills such as communication, leadership and social skills that can be developed in community groups. We would also like you to consider the learning that comes from developing the skills needed to run and support these groups.
Please complete this survey on behalf of your organisation, we would request that you complete only one response per organisation.
The deadline for the survey to be submitted is Friday 7th April
This survey will take a few minutes to complete.
