ASSET TRANSFER UNDER THE COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT ACT

NOTICE OF ASSET TRANSFER REQUEST

An asset transfer request has been made to Aberdeenshire Council under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

The request has been made by Kincardine and Mearns Youth Clubs and relates to the former Sea Cadet Hall, High Street, Stonehaven, AB39 2JP.

The request is for a 30 year lease of the property.

The proposed use of the property is to provide a permanent home for the Stonehaven Youth Club whose aim is to provide recreational facilities and activities for young people aged between 10 to 25 years of age.
