ASSET TRANSFER UNDER THE COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT ACT

NOTICE OF ASSET TRANSFER REQUEST

An asset transfer request has been made to Aberdeenshire Council under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

The request has been made by Auchenblae Parks Committee and relates to the Public Toilets building in Auchenblae.

The request is for transfer of ownership of the site.

The proposed use of the property is to:

1. Provide an immediate storage solution for Auchenblae District & Community Association and Auchenblae Parent Council;

2. Refurbish the building in line with the Auchenblae Conservation Status and improve the aesthetics of the area; and

3. Explore green sustainable projects that could self-fund the opening of a single unisex toilet for the public.
