ASSET TRANSFER UNDER THE COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT ACT

NOTICE OF ASSET TRANSFER REQUEST

An asset transfer request has been made to Aberdeenshire Council under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

The request has been made by Mackie Rugby Football Club and relates to the land of Forest Park, Stonehaven.

The request is for purchase of the land.

The proposed use of the land is to construct two rugby pitches to SRU competition standard, training area, clubhouse, changing rooms, storage and fitness suite.  The proposal will also include the car park but exclude the ‘Hamish’ play park.
