Survey has now closed and will form part of a larger report going to Infrastructure Committee at the end of November 2023. The report will be made available at that time.

Aberdeenshire Council is conducting a review of the Household Recycling Centre trial of several booking system models with a view to improving the service. Three models are being trialed:

  • No booking is required for Alford, Banchory, Fraserburgh, Huntly, Macduff, Peterhead, and Portsoy household recycling centres;
  • No bookings on Wednesdays or Saturdays for cars, booking everyday for vans and trailers at Ellon, Laurencekirk, Portlethen (not open on Wednesday), Stonehaven, and Turriff;
  • Booking is always required for Insch, Inverurie, and Westhill

We would appreciate you taking a few minutes to answer the following questions to help to contribute users’ views into the review process.

The survey will run from 21st June 2023 until Sunday 6th August 2023 and any queries should be sent to recyclingcentrepermits@aberdeenshire.gov.uk
