We have recently seen changes to the way we work, with staff being asked to work in other disciplines to ensure continued delivery of priority and statutory services during Covid (e.g. burials and waste collections), whilst at the same time ensuring staff safety and safe operations are continued.
The commitment and flexibility of many Roads, Landscape, and Waste Management staff and the way in which teams pulled together during this time is commendable and we thank you sincerely for this.
We must ensure that all staff & services are as flexible as possible so that we can deal with whatever the future brings, protecting staff whilst continuing to deliver services to our communities.
We are keen to get your views and to see what other opportunities there may be for working together and more flexibly in the future that may benefit you, the Council, and our communities – thank you for doing this survey.
