Aberdeenshire Council is delighted to confirm that £200,000 funding has been secured for the redevelopment of Fraserburgh Beach play area, £100,000 of which is coming from the Scottish Government Play Park Renewal Fund. We are now seeking community input to select new play equipment.
In keeping with community feedback gathered as part of the development of the Fraserburgh Beach Masterplan, we aim to enhance the existing play area with the addition of new items that are engaging, inclusive and accessible and enhance opportunities for play for children and families, as well as reflecting local maritime and coastal heritage themes.
