With the help of Fraserburgh Community Council and Aberdeenshire Council the Resilience Group have identified Shaw House, Mid Street as an ideal base for growing the services they provide.

Shaw House offers 296 square metres of floor space, compared to 26 square metres at the current location. Shaw House is on a public transport route, at the heart of the community and is an accessible building.
Given the wider services of the Resilience Group, the building would be utilised in various ways. It would provide a central base for all activities, whilst also allowing them to:
- Increase opening hours and membership of the food larder
- Provide a warm space in the winter months
- Provide a space where the group can collaborate with partners (e.g. to provide food preparation/cooking classes, or a community hub)
- Provide a space to store snow warden equipment
