Consultation has concluded
How would you prefer to access FREE period products?
With funding from the Scottish Government, Aberdeenshire Council now provides access to free period products. General feedback has been positive, especially as many families may be struggling with the rising cost of living.
But the council would like to know more about the type of products you would like to access, where you would like to be able to access these and how. It is important there is adequate provision of suitable products across Aberdeenshire’s wide geographical area.
Please take part in the Free Period Product Access Survey. This will take just 5-10 minutes to complete and will shape what is provided in the future.
This important work relates to the Period Products (Free Provision) (Scotland) Act 2021 Act, which states that everyone in Scotland who menstruates should have reasonably convenient access to period products, free of charge, as and when they are required. This includes visitors to Scotland for the duration of their stay.
This survey will close on May 26th 2022.
