Buchan Development Partnership (BDP) hold quarterly forums in different locations throughout Buchan. Through the Buchan Development Partnership Forums, you can network with similar community groups and learn from others. The forums also provide an opportunity to award the successful Shell Small Grants and hear from guest speakers.
BDP works with Shell UK who sponsor the forums, monthly newsletters and provide funding for Buchan communities through the Shell Small Grant Scheme. The scheme offers grants of up to £750 to constituted community groups in the Buchan area. This enables them to deliver projects that will improve the safety and quality of life for local people. There are four rounds of Shell Small Grants per year, with the successful recipients receiving their awards at Buchan Development Partnership's quarterly Forums.
Planning for the Forums is now underway for 2025, and we want to hear from communities and partners about what they would find useful and would like to see at these events. Your feedback is very important to us and completing this quick survey will enable us to tailor the Forums to what has been asked for.
The provisional dates for the 2024/ 2025 forums are:
-10th of December 2024
- 5th of March 2025
- 4th of June 2025
- 16th of September 2025
