With big planning legislation change on the horizon with the National Planning Framework 4, along with us taking the first steps for the Local Development Plan 2028 we thought that it would be prudent to take the time to reflect back on the last three Local Development Plans. Although many things will be changing for LDP 2028, it would enlightening for us to assess how well you thought these plans were executed and the degree of change they have brought to the region and local communities.

The publication of revised draft National Planning Framework 4 and its consideration by Parliament provides another focus for the questions that we are asking. There are many common objectives between the National Framework and the objectives of previous Local Development Plans. This survey will help to highlight the degree of change that we will have to introduce into the next Local Development Plan so as to achieve, in full, these national objectives.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey.
