Aberdeenshire Council are looking to reduce the size of the Huntly Conservation Area so that it reflects the streets and buildings of Huntly which are of the most important in terms of historical development and architectural merit.
We are seeking feedback on the proposed new boundary from residents and property owners. We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have if you think the proposed boundary requires amendment prior to presentation at Marr Area Committee. Comments can be submitted through the survey below.

The Huntly Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan have been updated to reflect the changes to the boundary and the relaxations in permitted development rights in Conservation Areas. These documents can be viewed by following the link to the Aberdeenshire Council website or the links below
