We’re putting together a Local Place Plan – and we want to hear from you! This is your chance to share ideas about how land and spaces in and around Inverurie should be used in the future. Whether it’s about housing, green spaces, transport, or community facilities, your input will help highlight what really matters to local people.
The plan will be created by the community, for the community – and once it’s registered, it will be considered in future planning decisions through the next Local Development Plan. By taking part, you’re helping to make sure Inverurie grows in a way that reflects your needs and aspirations.
The Local Place Plan is your chance to tell us about the places and buildings that matter most to you, and let us know where, if anywhere, you think future development should happen. Through the work of Evolving Inverurie, a local charity set up to enhance the sense of place in Inverurie, you can help guide the priorities and aspirations that will inform both the Local Development Plan (2029–2039) and future decisions by developers and organisations.
Following our public consultation in March 2025, we’re now inviting you to share your views through our online survey.
