Consultation has concluded
A Community Action Plan (‘CAP’) is being developed for Kirkton of Skene and the surrounding area. The plan will be based upon local issues which require action, as identified by the residents. A group of volunteers has been formed to list these issues, but we would like your help to guide us.
The CAP process is beginning with this survey. Please use the survey to say what you like about Kirkton of Skene and what could be better for all of us living in and around the village. The results of the survey will be shared at an open coffee morning hosted by the Milne Hall on Saturday 27th May, when you will have the opportunity to comment on the issues. Summaries of the survey results will also be displayed on the noticeboards in the village.
The survey results will be used to feed into the development of the CAP. The CAP will be recognised by Aberdeenshire Council as evidence for developing its strategy and targeting its resources; it may also help us to access other funding to address the issues we identify.
The survey questionnaire is below. Please talk to your whole household and include as many views as possible. Survey responses are anonymous. However, if you wish to give us your contact details we would be happy to keep you updated. You would also be very welcome to get involved: just e-mail us on KirktonOfSkeneCAP@gmail.com.
Please respond to the questionnaire by 30th April by either completing an online version or posting this paper survey into the collection box located outside of Bothy 57.
