We are a group of local residents who use the Linden centre in Huntly. We are working with the adult learning team at the council and the NHS Public Health team to look at setting up a community café in the Linden centre. The plan to start with is to open for a couple of hours once a week, serving tea / coffee / soft drinks along with cakes and biscuits. We intend to do this initial opening from April to June this year. Depending on how this all goes we can then look at opening more often and serving a wider range of food and drinks.
We have put together a short survey. We would really like your views on this idea and help in making it happen. Please do complete the survey below telling us when might be the best times for us to open and what you would like to see served.

As a result of your feedback we feel very positive about opening the café for a pilot phase and we have identified a time and day that seems suitable. We have taken all your ideas on board but we are taking small steps to begin with to see how the café goes. We will be opening the café on Tuesday mornings from 10-12 from 28th April until the end of June. For the moment the café will be a lovely place to come for a hot drink and a fine piece one morning a week but as we go along and depending on what happens after the pilot phase we may be in a position to do more.
