With work already having started to build the second storey extension at the aquarium, the council is now inviting catering and hospitality businesses to apply to operate the café and offer quality food with a view to our visitors and local community, along with events catering.
The aim is to provide a high quality offering for the 55,000+ visitors who flock to the attraction each year, to increase events and functions on-site. It's intended that the cafe/restaurant will operate during aquarium opening hours with the option to add out-of-hours or evening offers as the operator chooses. Together with the aquarium team, we want to create a seamless customer experience and visitor destination that also supports the thriving local community
If you're interested in the opportunity to operate the cafe/restaurant catering concession at the aquarium please head over to https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/Default.aspx for all the details, including application deadlines – you will need to be registered with the PCS portal to access and to submit your application.
