  • We are keen to hear public experiences of accessing the Minor injuries services in Aberdeenshire.

    We would love to find out how your recent visit to our Minor Injury Service went. The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete and will help us to understand how we can improve accessibility of the service and give the public confidence in knowing who to turn to when you have concerns about your health.  Below are a few links to services which can help you with these concerns.

    Know Who To Turn Turn (NHS Grampian)

    Going directly to the person with the appropriate skills is important. This can help you to a speedier recovery and makes sure all NHS services are run efficiently.

    The website gives examples of common conditions and provides information on who to turn to locally in NHS Grampian.

    NHS Pharmacy First Scotland is an NHS service provided by your local community pharmacy. 

    If you have a minor illness, a pharmacy is the first place you should go for advice.

    You do not usually need an appointment, and you can go to any pharmacy.

    Your local pharmacist or a trained member of the pharmacy team will give you advice and provide medicine if needed. They may refer you to another healthcare professional if they feel your condition needs further investigation or more specialist care. For example your:

     

    • GP practice
    • dentist
    • optometrist
    • another NHS service
