Aberdeenshire Council is working with AECOM to identify safe walking, wheeling and cycling routes to the new Peterhead Community Campus. The new site on Kinmundy Road will be home to the new Academy and pitches. We are looking to learn how young people, parents, teachers and community members will travel to the new school.
From December 2025 to February 2026, we engaged with schools and the wider community in Peterhead via various methods including online consultation, school workshops, walking audits of the proposed routes and online workshops with key stakeholders.
This feedback on the proposed routes will feed into an options report to help us understand which routes should be prioritised and improved in order to create safe walking, wheeling and cycling routes to the new Academy.
