The “Cultural Tides: North Sea Connections in Aberdeenshire” project will focus on the development of a cultural quarter in Peterhead, centred around the vacant Arbuthnot House.
The walled garden was once a feature of the original Arbuthnot House but over the centuries has been lost to building and car parking. The project will see a garden re-instated, creating valuable public greenspace in the heart of Peterhead.
There will be space for just sitting, for eating lunch, for events, for play and for quiet contemplation. Everyone will be able to access the garden when the new building is open, even if they are not visiting any of the indoor facilities.
This survey has now closed. Thank you for taking part.
