Currently Cornerstone SDS Aberdeenshire provide an information, advice and support service for people who want to know more about self-directed support to enable them to make an informed choice about the 4 options. Depending on the option chosen Cornerstone will continue to support individuals in receipt of a budget, including the provision of an Individual Service Fund.
The contract between Aberdeenshire Council and Cornerstone SDS and Cornerstone ISF is due to expire on the 30th of June 2027. Engagement with stakeholders is being undertaken to inform future commissioning arrangements.
As part of the process of developing a new service specification we are seeking the views of all stakeholders including supported individuals, families, unpaid carers and practitioners.
