The temporary variation applies to the live televised coverage of the following matches:
- Any Qualifying Home Nation Matches (Scotland and England).
- The Quarter Finals.
- The Semi Finals.
- The Third Place Playoff.
- The Final.
The temporary variation permits halls to open up to 1 hour before kick off and to close no later than 30 minutes after a relevant match.
The following additional conditions are applied in respect of public entertainment licences during the application of the temporary variation:
- A hall operator or authorised responsible person is to be present at all times.
- Adequate numbers of SIA registered stewards, staff and volunteers are provided.
- A duty of care policy is in place and staff and volunteers are trained accordingly.
- Adequate first aid provision is in place.
- Alcohol is only permitted only where an occasional licence has been granted.
- Bring your own bottle is not permitted.
- All drinks are served in non-glass containers.
- Outdoor areas are used only for smoking.
- Re-entry is not permitted, except for smoking.
- A dispersal policy is in place and followed at the end of the event.
Licence holders must ensure that they also continue to adhere to the standard conditions whilst the temporary variation is in effect.
