Consultation has concluded
Views are being sought from the communities of the Ythan Community Council and the former Ellon Community Council areas on proposals to come together under one community council. The proposals would involve extending the current Ythan Community Council’s boundary to incorporate the full area currently represented by the former Ellon Community Council.
Views are being sought from the communities of the Ythan Community Council and the former Ellon Community Council areas on proposals to come together under one community council. The proposals would involve extending the current Ythan Community Council’s boundary to incorporate the full area currently represented by the former Ellon Community Council.
Community Council representation is important to provide a strong voice to represent communities’ needs and wishes. As Ellon Community Council has struggled to maintain membership in the past and is not currently able to operate, merging the two Community Councils was proposed as a more sustainable solution for representing the areas.
