Adult Learners Forum for Aberdeenshire represents the views of learners, giving them the opportunity to have a voice, discuss issues, engage with decision-makers, and contribute to improving and developing learning opportunities.

Our five main aims are to:

Increase awareness of adult learning opportunities
Remove stigma around adult learning.
Encourage others to take up learning opportunities.
Influence decision making around adult learning.
Encourage positive conversations on adult learning.

I can now read the bus time table and make the journey into Aberdeen – I can speak with people at the supermarket

I can now make an appointment to bank and phone my energy supplier to pay bills. I now speak good English and my understanding of numbers is better. I could do not these things before I started classes
