NOTICE OF ASSET TRANSFER REQUEST
An asset transfer request has been made to Aberdeenshire Council under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.
The request has been made by Turriff Town Pride / Turriff in Bloom Group and relates to the former depot building and yard at Station Road in Turriff..
The request is for lease of the building and yard.
The proposed use of the former depot building and yard is to utilise as a storage facility for equipment used to maintain the town’s floral displays.
Anyone may make representations about this request to Aberdeenshire Council by completing the survey form below.
Any representation must be in writing and include the name and address of the person making it. A copy of the anonymised representation will be given to the organisation making the request. A copy of the Asset Transfer Privacy Notice can be found in the important links section.
Representations must be made by Friday 21 April 2023.

Notification and Representations – A minimum period of 20 working days is provided for public comments. Any representations received will be copied to the Community Body for their comments.

Decision-making process – Representations along with other key information submitted will be considered before a written report will be presented to the relevant Area Committee for determination.
