ASSET TRANSFER UNDER THE COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT ACT

NOTICE OF ASSET TRANSFER REQUEST

An asset transfer request has been made to Aberdeenshire Council under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

The request has been made by the Catalyst Community Regeneration Company and relates to the Ythan Centre, Station Road, Ellon.

The request is for the full transfer of the Ythan Centre, Station Road, Ellon.

The proposed use of the Ythan Centre is as a community hub, providing a broad range of community focused activities throughout the week, as well as becoming the permanent home for the Catalyst Vineyard Church congregation in Ellon.

Anyone may make representations about this request to Aberdeenshire Council.

Representations must be in writing and include the name and address of the person making it. A copy of the representation will be given to the organisation making the request.

Representations must be made by midnight on Sunday 18 January 2026.
