Who's Listening

The ‘Community Paradigm’ is referred to as a future practice and culture of community engagement, which challenges and empowers communities to collaborate in developing and delivering solutions to some of the most complex problems they face. It describes a re-imagined social ‘contract’ between public services, communities and individual citizens.  

The North Public Health Team have been chosen to trial this way of working within the village of New Pitsligo.  A ‘paradigm shift’ in how both public services and individuals think about and relate to themselves, to one another, and their health and wellbeing needs.  Support and guidance around the planning, implementation and evaluation of this way of working will be provided by Kings Fund health charity.
