Over the last year, Aberdeenshire Council has been listening to residents through surveys, drop-in events and other engagement activities. What we've heard has highlighted a number of common themes about the services, issues and priorities that matter most to people.
We would now like to hear from Community Councils to understand whether these themes reflect what you are hearing in your local area. This is not a formal consultation. Instead, it is an opportunity to check whether the findings from previous engagement feel right from a community perspective and whether anything important may be missing.
Like many councils across Scotland, Aberdeenshire Council faces significant financial pressures in the years ahead. This means difficult decisions will need to be made about how services are delivered and how limited resources are prioritised. To find out more about the challenges facing the Council's budget, please read our Budget Position White Paper.
Your feedback will help inform discussions about Council priorities and budget planning for 2027/28. The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete.
