Consultation has concluded

This page is where we will host all activities related to Aberdeenshire Council's Environment and Infrastructure Services Fees and Charges Review.

In line with the council's Corporate Charging Policy and Corporate Charging Framework, Environment and Infrastructure Services are undertaking a review of their Fees and Charges. The purpose of the review is to ensure that:

  1. Charges are levied on a clear and consistent basis across Council Services.
  2. The affordability of charges and possible concessions are considered
  3. Recovery of charges is carried out efficiently and effectively; and
  4. Charges are imposed and implemented in line with Council priorities and policies.

On 25 August 2022, Infrastructure Services Committee (ISC) acknowledged the directorate's intention to undertake the review and endorsed a public consultation on discretionary charges. This consultation is contained below and should take less than 10 minutes.

Once the survey has been completed, the directorate will report back to ISC and the amended charges put in place for the 2023/2024 financial year.
