Town Centre Health Checks are a means of assessing the vitality, resilience and performance of town centres over time. The results of a health check exercise are used to formulate strategies for improvements and inform policy documents and funding applications.


The Town Centre of Ellon as defined by the Local Development Plan can be seen in the picture to the left.

    Ellon Town Centre Business Survey

    Aberdeenshire Council are undertaking a Town Centre Health Check for Ellon and are looking for the views of the business community. It is more important than ever that we have a good understanding of our town centres and how we can support them and the businesses within them to thrive. As part of a new approach to the Health Checks, this is the first time that businesses have been surveyed directly, so please take time to complete this questionnaire to help us to understand your views, needs, ideas and aspirations both for your business and for Ellon. 

    The deadline for completing the survey is Friday 3rd November 2023 and it should take between 10-15mins to complete.
