The upper floor space for café/restaurant will have magnificent views! There will be an internal view into the central kelp display so you can watch the fish while you eat or enjoy your piece looking out to the coast and the Moray Firth.
Viewing decks outside will provide great vantage points for wildlife spotting!
The café will be operated separately from the aquarium, offering a great opportunity for a hospitality or catering provider and potentially boosting the evening economy for the region.
As the building and cafe/restaurant space takes shape, the council is seeking to work in partnership with an enterprising hospitality business to deliver our vision for this unique space and the invitation to apply to operate the cafe/restaurant is live.
