This year’s theme is Financial Harm in Older Adults. This can include theft, fraud, pressure to give money or sign over property or misuse of benefits, as well as rogue traders and online scammers.
Financial abuse can also be an indicator of domestic abuse and can come in many forms from not being allowed access to funds, unable to control your own finances, forced to take out debt or claim benefits plus many others.
