With a range of local partners, the Community Learning and Development (CLD) team is working together to better understand the community learning needs of community residents in our coastal villages in Kincardine and Mearns.
Having completed a Knowing Your Community exercise in Johnshaven in 2021, two communities were identified as villages for our attention on the coastal strip: Inverbervie and Gourdon.
Community Learning and Development (CLD) with Public Health, Community Planning, Kincardine Development Partnership (KDP) and the local Community Link Worker have co-designed a survey to gain insight into what it is like to live, learn and be healthy and connected in the community.
Partners will be hosting focus groups with community members on the survey. The survey will open on 30th May 2024 and will close the 30th October 2024 for analysis and review. Findings from the engagement and the final report will be shared in November 2024.

This survey provides you with an opportunity to share your views and priorities for your community. The survey will open on 30th May and will close on 31st July for analysis and review. Findings from the engagement will be shared at the beginning of September with partners with the aim of developing an action plan to address local needs. A final report will be published on the Engage Aberdeenshire project page in October 2024.
