Aberdeenshire Council has commissioned transport consultants AECOM to develop and appraise options for an active travel route between Inverurie and Oldmeldrum, in alignment with Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance (STAG). The aim of this commission is to encourage sustainable travel in the study area show in Figure 1. You should only complete this survey if you live in, or regularly travel within this area.
The purpose of this survey is to identify the key problems and opportunities faced by those who travel in the area highlighted in Figure 1 as well as to document potential interventions that would address the identified problems or build on any of the identified opportunities. The survey also asks about you and your travel habits to help us understand existing levels of walking, wheeling and cycling. Responses may also be used to inform future transport studies in Aberdeenshire.
Please note that as part of this survey, active travel refers to walking, wheeling and cycling; wheeling refers to wheeled mobility aids, including wheelchairs, mobility scooters and walking frames.
This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
