Consultation has concluded
With support from Community Learning and Development, three parents from Portlethen, Stonehaven and Mearns, took on lead roles in this community engagement project.
They would like to thank you very much for your support in their Kincardine and Mearns community-led youth centre survey.
With support from the young people from the Mearns Youth Forum, the Portlethen Youth Forum and the Stonehaven Elevate 21 Group, the group have created a short film of the findings. Check it Out!

336 (41.7%) come from Portlethen and surrounding areas
205 (25.5%) come from Laurencekirk and surrounding areas
189(23.5%) come from Stonehavenand surrounding areas area

The survey responses and comments from engagement in groups and social media have been filtered for responses from the three three towns and surrounding area.
The Kincardine and Mearns Youth Clubs group are looking for volunteers to move things forward and would love to hear from you, if you think you can help.
They are currently trying to build committees to help establish local youth drop-in provision.
