Consultation has concluded
Aberdeenshire Council is seeking input from the local community to select new play equipment for three play parks within Kincardine & Mearns. As some of the popular pieces are nearing the end of their serviceable life, we aim to replace them with items that cater to a similar age range and offer equal or greater play value. The funds for this project, £145,000, will come solely from the Scottish Government Play Park Renewal Fund.
The play parks/items are as follows-
Laurencekirk, Memorial Park- Junior Multi-play Unit
Stonehaven, Queen Elizabeth Park- Toddler Multi-play Ship, Wooden Adventure Trail
We have received proposals from four different suppliers: Hags, Jupiter Play, Kompan, and Sutcliffe Play.
The design layouts from each supplier are listed below in OPTIONS. (Right-click to 'open image in a new tab' for a larger image)
Please review the options and select your preferred supplier using the SURVEY below. You will need to register with an email address to take part in the survey and you can only complete the survey once. This is simply to ensure the survey response is fair and accurate.
Your input is highly valued and plays a crucial role in determining the design selection for the local park and how this external funding is utilised to benefit the local community.
