Aberdeenshire HSCP's Learning Disability strategy “Be All You Can Be” is a 5 year strategy which aims to ensure that Aberdeenshire becomes the best place for a person with a learning disability to live and work. You can find our strategy 'The Big Plan' and our delivery plan 'The Big List' under the Documents section to the right as well as the latest newsletters from our wonderful Day Services and other documents that may be of interest.
A huge part of the Strategy is making sure that the voices of those who use our service, their families and their carers are heard and incorporated in to the work that we do.

At the meeting of the Integration Joint Board on Wednesday 8th October 2025, a decision was made to extend the current Learning Disability strategy 'Be All You Can Be' by a further two years, with an accompanying refreshed Delivery Plan. The strategy will now be continuing until the end of 2027.
By extending the Strategy, with a refreshed Delivery Plan, Aberdeenshire HSCP can maintain continuity and allow alignment with future national direction, namely the upcoming national LDAN (Learning Disabilities, Autism and Neurodivergence) Bill.
