Stonehaven Participatory Budgeting - Voice your Choice- Result
Consultation has concluded
The local community has provided a range of ideas on how Live Life Aberdeenshire can use £1.8 million to improve sports and leisure infrastructure in Stonehaven. Following input and feedback from community groups, seven options are now ready to progress to a vote. You told us your ideas, now you have had your say on how the money is spent.
Thanks to all who took the time to vote. 1753 votes were cast and these votes came from all age groups. The table below shows the result of the vote and which projects can proceed. We will now work to implement and use the budget to deliver what you voted for.

over 2 years agoCLOSED: This idea generating stage has now closed. How would YOU spend £1.8 million on infrastructure for sport & leisure in Stonehaven?
If you live in and around Stonehaven or wish to use the Sports and Leisure Facilities in Stonehaven, then please have your say.
Please have a look at the FAQs to help you understand the project. This funding is from Live Life Aberdeenshire's Capital Budget which means it can only be spent on built facilities and physical infrastructure. It can only deliver Sport and Leisure outcomes.
Remember you can can 'like' other ideas, add a comment, or suggestions or inspire others to add their own idea.
NB Leisure outcomes for this project are those defined as contributing to improving the provision of sports infrastructure.
The ideas tool has been refreshed to focus on those ideas in scope for the money allocated, so we can continue the discussion around these ideas. Ideas and comments have been retained in the evidence collected and comments will be passed on to relevant local services. Ideas such as picnic areas, camping or motorhome sites, public toilets, BBQ on the beach would not be considered for this project as they are out of scope in terms where the money available can be used. If you have any other comments feel free to email any comments or ideas to engage@aberdeenshire.gov.uk

Water parking and toilet waste point. Like European Aires. Small fee to be put back in to aire to maintain.

0 comment15Alan Buzzardover 2 years agoA motorhome Aire,
An Aire will encourage visitors who will spend money in the local area all year round, if services for chemical toilet waste and fresh water could be provided that would be even better. A small charge could be made depending on services provided.
