Update on Lumphanan and Torphins Community Council Proposed Boundary Change

Thanks to all who completed the survey or attended the public engagement events. Taking into account feedback from both communities, the proposals to bring Torphins and Lumphanan together under one community council are being paused to allow for a further attempt to reinstate Lumphanan Community Council. A call for nominations for membership will open in January 2023. Details will be published on the Council's website. Lumphanan residents who might be interest in joining the Community Council are encouraged to contact marr@aberdeenshire.gov.uk to register their interest and be notified once the period for nominations opens.
