Macduff Marine Aquarium is due to get a 'fin-tastic' new extension and upgrade. The plans will create a visitor destination and learning centre that is second to none in Northeast Scotland. You can read more on our dedicated Macduff Marine Aquarium engagement hub.
The aquarium is all about promoting our amazing local marine life to inspire an understanding and appreciation for our coastal habitats. The new learning space will allow even more opportunities to explore marine environmental and climate themes.
The plans to add a learning room to the aquarium building will provide dedicated space for hands-on activities and events – for learners of all ages, visitors, and community groups – and even for temporary exhibitions.
We would like to learn more about how you would use this facility. We have created three short surveys - one for community groups, one for young people in education and one for teachers. They are short surveys that will only take around 5 minutes to complete. Thank you for your feedback!
