Mental Health & Wellbeing Delivery Plan
The Aberdeenshire Health and Social Partnership (AHSCP) are developing a new Mental Health and Wellbeing Delivery Plan.
Our last plan was published in 2019 and covered a five year period. You can find a copy in the “important links” section of the page.
Mental health involves our emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing, and affects how we think, feel and act. We all experience emotions, such as happiness and sadness. These emotions are part of our mental health.
To help shape the new plan we engaged with people in our communities through two phases, summarised below:
Phase Two – this was the most recent engagement phase, covering the period 5th October 2025 - 23rd November 2025. We wanted to hear from:
- People who have used mental health services and / or supports
- Family members and carers
- Staff who provide mental health and wellbeing support
- Any other relevant stakeholders
The feedback we received is helping inform the work that we do and shaping our mental health and wellbeing priorities moving forward. You can read a summary of the feedback, including next steps.
Phase One – covered the period 16th September 2024 - 31st October 2024
During this first phase, we held in-person events across Aberdeenshire. The public were invited to come along, speak to staff and provide feedback at the event or through an online survey.
We reviewed this feedback and used it to plan the second phase of engagement.
