Consultation has concluded
As residents may be aware, there is a housing development currently under construction in Blackdog, as part of this the Developer has made some land available (along with some funding) for the community to own and run a community building / facility, the proposed location of which is shown above for information.
Although the level of funding will not fully fund any potential development, Aberdeenshire Council are looking to support the Community in achieving this and have appointed a consultant to carry out a feasibility study to look at the type of community building / facility that could be considered and the costs associated with this.
The Consultants have already held initial meetings with members of the Blackdog Residents Association and Aberdeenshire Council Officers and are now looking to gather the views of the wider community and residents to help shape what type of facility would best meet the future needs of the community .
This short survey will take you around 5 minutes to complete and will help inform our next steps. The deadline for completing the survey is 2nd March 2023
