Nestrans in partnership with Tactran, Aberdeenshire Council and Angus Council, have commissioned a study to investigate the way people travel in Stonehaven, Mearns and North Angus, and how we can improve the transport network to better serve you. The study aims to identify how access to opportunities and services using sustainable transport modes can be improved, helping to strengthen the long-term resilience of communities.
To do this, we are carrying out a survey to better understand how you travel and how we can improve your journeys. The questionnaire features questions on general transport concerns and specific travel patterns to work, school and leisure. You can skip some questions if they are not applicable. Further questions explore a sample set of personas and travel scenarios to prompt reflections on how the transport network supports everyday journeys.
Whether you walk, wheel (moving around using a wheelchair or other type of wheel-based mobility aid), cycle, drive, take the bus or train your views will help shape a transport system that supports your needs.

Printed copies of the survey are available from Aberdeenshire Council libraries on request. Alternatively call 01467 535 333 (option 3) or email michael.reid@aberdeenshire.gov.uk, with your name and address details and we can arrange for a printed copy to be sent by post.
