The Licensing Sub-Committee is interested in receiving your views in respect of the proposed taxi fare scale which states the maximum fares which can be charged.
It is of course important that the taxi fare scale is well balanced in order to allow taxi operators to operate and cover their costs whilst also remaining affordable.
The proposal is for the new taxi fare scale to come into force on the 1st of December 2024 and details of the review process can be found within the 'key dates' section found on this page.

This consultation is open until the 4th of October 2024.
The results of the consultation will be considered by the Licensing Sub-Committee at their meeting on the 11th of October 2024 with a view to fixing the the final fare scale.
