Consultation has concluded
Aberdeenshire Council is seeking the views of both residents and visitors to the Udny Green Conservation Area in relation to the recently drafted Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan.
This consultation forms part of Aberdeenshire Council’s process of updating its supporting planning guidance for conservation areas across the region.
Comments are sought on the Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan documents, which when finalised, will provide concise guidance to property owners, agents, contractors and developers on policies which are used to assess proposed development within conservation areas, bringing it in line with other conservation areas across Aberdeenshire.
A public drop-in event will be held 26 September 2023, 3:30pm- 7:30pm at the Dr Spence Memorial Hall, Udny Green, which will provide an opportunity for anyone to ask questions regarding the Udny Green Conservation Area or provide comments on the draft documents. We will also be showing a pre-recorded video on the topic of theRetrofit of Traditional Buildings, produced by Historic Environment Scotland.
