Funding for youth led community music projects in Aberdeenshire
Are you a young person who loves music, with a great idea for a music project?
This year in Aberdeenshire, funding has been allocated to support community music projects organised by young people, for young people age 12 - 25yrs.
It will be given to small groups in Aberdeenshire who can show that their project covers the following criteria:
Young people plan it for young people.
It is fun!
It is supported by Aberdeenshire Council staff e.g. CLD Worker, Teacher, Social Worker etc. This is needed to make it possible to get the funding to you.
The project employs professional musicians who are paid at the current Musicians Union rate.
The project shows how young people develop their music and music-making skills.
Minimum budget of £1,000 per project

This opportunity will remain open until all funding is allocated or until 31st March 2024 Projects must be completed by end June 2024.
