Funding for youth led community music projects in Aberdeenshire

Are you a young person who loves music, with a great idea for a music project?

This year in Aberdeenshire, funding has been allocated to support community music projects organised by young people, for young people age 12 - 25yrs.

It will be given to small groups in Aberdeenshire who can show that their project covers the following criteria:

• Young people plan it for young people.
• It is fun!
• It is supported by Aberdeenshire Council staff e.g. CLD Worker, Teacher, Social Worker etc. This is needed to make it possible to get the funding to you.
• The project employs professional musicians who are paid at the current Musicians Union rate.
• The project shows how young people develop their music and music-making skills.
• Minimum budget of £1,000 per project
